The LOVE Project is piloting a “self-management group’ which is about creating discussion in a group setting to inform and encourage healthy active ageing. The aims of this self-management group are to improve knowledge of one’s condition; encouraging participants to develop a care plan for themselves; actively share in decision making; monitor ones own signs and symptoms; manage impacts on physical, emotional social life and adopt lifestyles that promote good health.

From the 1st July 2015 some community pharmacies (local chemists) will start dispensing HIV medications. We hope this will make it more convenient for you to get your meds. we’re keen to hear what you need from a pharmacy before you’d use the service. We also want to know where community pharmacies would best be located in Newcastle and the broader Hunter-New England area.
