Each year, on 1 December, the world commemorates World AIDS Day. People around the world unite to show support for people living with HIV and to remember those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses. Each World AIDS Day focuses on a specific theme, which this year will be “End Inequalities. End AIDS.“
This year Karumah will hold two events for World AIDS Day: a Twilight Memorial on December 1st and a Community Celebration on December 5th
Karumah would like to invite you to our World AIDS Day Twilight Memorial on Wednesday, December 1st from 6 pm
Join us for a moving peer-led memorial as the sunsets for a chance to remember those who have been lost over the past 40 years of HIV.
We ask that you wear something RED in recognition of World AIDS Day and we will have ribbons available at the event.
